North Portland Short Sale Concerns
Short Sale Concerns – North Portland
Common Situation:
Property located in North Portland. Over-mortgaged property is bankrupting the owners. The only solution to this is short sale or foreclosure. Multiple logistic concerns about vacating the property and making it ready for short sale.
If you need a short sale, call Oscar Morante at 971-222-3734. I have been doing short sales since 2003. In addition I am the author of Short Sales A-Z. Find more at www.BestShortSales.com
we have not begun moving belongings….
renting truck etc is expensive…. and the material would be unprotected in Seattle – basically a vacant house with possessions…. I am not sure this is a good idea but certainly some items may be moved…. will discuss….
while I understand the marketing advantage, I am not sure of the advantage in the larger context…. how urgent do you think the sale might be?

Short Sale
Hi Oscar,
Lots of changes, I am in Seattle now as a job opened up and am in Portland 2 days a week. Please call B if you have any
questions. The foreclosure auction is on March 4, 2011. It may be better to let it foreclose.
Thank you,
S
looks good Oscar – I have rented a condo and we will be vacating the house
in about one week but certainly before the end of the month..,. Auction is
scheduled for March 2 (I think – might have been the 4th) – we are at peace
with the house foreclosing.
North Portland Short Sale
we actually paid 349K – so that is a 43% difference – I am flying to LA today – please contact Susan on her cell – did the other prospect submit an offer? B (mobile) —– Original Message —- From: Oscar Morante <oscar@bestshortsales.com> PM Subject: Offer for 7025 N Greenwich , I got this offer today at around 4:00pm. There is another offer most likely arriving. An agent from Remax told me that you showed the property and most likely they will have an offer. The presented offer is not bad. Could be higher, but it is short sale. Most properties lost 30% of their previous value, so if you paid just over $300K, and offer for $200K is OK. Lets connect Tuesday. OK Oscar, sounds good. Do you know the best timing, when to lower the price, or should we talk about it?

We did stop paying around the June 28th payment. I don't think that
we have heard from the bank but will ask Barbara to make sure. Do
you want me to take photos of the bedroom and loft?
It requires tidying but can be done this aft/evening.
Thank you,
SLet me know when the sign is place. I will give you flyers to put
on the box. Please refresh me. Did you already stop paying. Let
me know as soon as you do it and hear from the bank. Thanks.Oscar
